What exactly is FLUID ART ?

There are books, lists and the Internet is full of different explanations for Fluid Art, also known as Paint Pouring or Acrylic Pouring. It's a form of art which involves mixing different acrylic paints and a pouring medium and then pour the paint directly on to a canvas without using a brush. That´s about where to start.

There are thousand of artists on YouTube if you wish to have a look on how things can be done. I suggest that if you are interested in it, you may book a little workshop to try it out yourself without buying lots of stuff for the first time.

Also it can be a little difficult to get the correct amount of painting and mixing aswell as how to pour it. So before you get frustrated, come and see me at my Atelier.

Basic materials are

- Acrylic Paint in different colours

- Canvas or wooden board

further you can use a hairdryer, different cups and wooden sticks, the more you paint the more you find out what else could be used to paint. It can go crazy up to eggcartons, skrewdrivers, heating gun, Stones and what ever comes into your mind.
